About GulfWorkerWealth

Our mission & how we make money

GulfWorkerWealth publishes honest, researched, plain-language guides for the millions of people who move to the Gulf to work — and want to keep more of what they earn, avoid scams, and build something for their families back home.

Who this is for

Migrant and expat workers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC — from construction, delivery and retail to office and remote roles. If you’re figuring out cost of living, sending money home, visas, banking, or safe ways to earn a little extra, this is for you.

Our editorial principles

  • Honesty over hype. We don’t promise get-rich-quick outcomes, and we say plainly when something is risky.
  • We verify. Figures come from official and reputable sources, and we tell you to re-check anything that changes (rates, rents, visa rules).
  • Clear labelling. Sponsored content is marked “Sponsored.” We do not publish fake reviews or disguise advertising as independent editorial.
  • Risk warnings. On money and trading topics, we show the real downside — including regulator data that most retail traders lose money.

How we make money

To keep our guides free, we use affiliate links (we may earn a commission when you sign up for a product through us, at no extra cost to you) and clearly labelled sponsorships. This never changes what we write, which products we criticise, or the risk warnings we include. If a sponsor’s product is risky, we still say so.

Not financial adviceEverything here is general information for 2026, not personal financial, legal, tax or immigration advice. Rules and rates change frequently — verify current details with official sources, and speak to a qualified professional for your own situation before making decisions.
